Ephesians 6:12 “For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.”
A young lady came up to us and confessed that she had been watching pornography and she wanted to stop. We asked her if we could pray for her and she agreed to let us do that. As we started to pray for her, we began to command all evil spirits to leave her, including lust and sexual immorality. As we prayed for her, she began to feel heaviness in her body, so much so that she couldn’t lift up her hands or feet. We knew this was a sign of demonic activity. We kept praying and commanding these things to leave her and she began to realize that these issues of sexual immorality were things that her family had suffered with for generations. As she realized these things and broke their power over her family by the power of the name of Jesus, she could feel the heaviness leaving her body. We continued to pray that these evil spirits would leave her body and as she renounced her past actions, she felt the heaviness leave her completely. Tears were rolling down her cheeks, not from pain but from the joy she felt knowing that God had delivered her. Since that day she has been diligent in following the Go Free recovery process, and has been free from sexual immorality ever since.
