Three men individually confessed that they had been struggling with pornography and sexual immorality for over a decade each. They all had the desire to change their patterns and behaviours and did not want any more parts of their lives to be destroyed. They all joined our Go Free recovery groups, which gave them the necessary tools to understand their destructive behaviours and why they engaged in them, respond to moments of desire to go back into old behaviours and effectively say NO, and build new and healthy patterns of living that promote health and wholeness. As these men journeyed through recovery together, a bond was formed between them as they began to support and encourage one another, relate to each other’s struggles and motivate one another towards lifelong freedom from pornography and sexual immorality. At the end of their time together in the recovery group, all three of them were walking in freedom, healed from the trauma and pain that caused them to turn to pornography in the first place, and equipped with the necessary tools to walk out a life of health and wholeness.
